Grogged stoneware, porcelain slip and glaze. Handmade wall vase.
Measures approximately 7.7 h x 6.3 w x 2.2cm d (height measured at tallest point at the opening)
These are hand-built by me from soft clay slabs with stamped relief patterns and the exterior surfaces vary between pieces with various textures, oxide patinas and layered glazes. The glaze application is experimental. They all have their own quirks, personalities and 'beauty-spots'. As my approach is rather intuitive I choose to embrace these variations.
The hole at the back of this vase is suitable for a simplicity hanger or a nail.
