Glazed ceramic brooch. Brooch back affixed with jewellers epoxy.
Measures approximately 3.2cm across
These are thrown off the hump on my pottery wheel, most of them altered, and then carved back when leatherhard to finish. The exterior surfaces vary between pieces with layered glazes, the application is experimental. They all have their own quirks and personalities and 'beauty-spots'. As my approach is rather intuitive I choose to embrace these variations.
